Taste, Sights and Smell of Kota Kinabalu Night Market

Fishmongers at the market.
Kota Kinabalu Night Market is held on the most scenic spot. Overlooking the sea, this night market offers visitors a beautiful backdrop of the sunset and the evening tide alongside with the food and shopping experience. This place is not to be missed; it is along the busiest street in Kota Kinabalu right beside Filipino Market, and we use this stretch of road every single day for the short time that we spent holidaying in Kota Kinabalu. We spent an evening there, dining, shopping and loving every bit of the busy market scene: the locals busy shopping for fresh catches of seafood and vegetables from the nearby Kundasang area; the tourists bargaining for better offers, and the sights of food, items and wares not available elsewhere.

JBoy and I took a trip to Kota Kinabalu earlier this year. It was a free and easy relaxing trip, as only both of us went. We rented a small car to go around, taking our time in each places. It was certainly a quaint, peaceful and city, and the seafood was fabulous! The offerings of the ocean does not stop at seafood alone - Kota Kinabalu pearls are very pretty as well!

Stay tuned for more Kota Kinabalu posts!
