A group of us congregated at Brotzeit a few Fridays  ago to celebrate JBoy's birthday by eating a lot of pork. We ordered a Brotzeit Platter (for 4 to 5). There were 5 of us, 2 boys and 3 girls. We could barely finish the whole platter. It was huge. The platter consisted of Schweinshaxn the pork knuckle, Huhnerwurst, the spicy chicken sausages and two side dishes. We chose a side of  Kartoffelhappen, or spicy potato wedges and sauerkraut, with an additional order of pretzel.

Pork schnitzel  (boneless meat thinned with a hammer, coated in bread crumbs and fried), and the Schweinshaxn (pork knuckle).

Spinach Pizza.

Overall, we loved the place. It was a great spot to chill and dine with a few rounds of beer on Friday night. Portions are huge and meant to be shared.
