We've been triggered by a ramen craze, and as such, is out on a ramen tasting spree. Our latest foray into ramen is at Goku Raku Ramen, The Ramen Haven in Midvalley. This ramen establishment serves pork based broth ramen, a rarity in Malaysia until recently.
As it was still tea time, we shared the Ultimate Tonkotsu Ramen with leek oil. The soup broth was densely flavoured with pork and was surprisingly hearty. The noodles were made fresh, served along with pork slices, egg and veggies.
The ramen taste good with or without the leek oil, although we prefer the lingering aftertaste of the aromatic leek in the soup.
Overall it was a good experience and worth returning for other interesting items in the menu and certainly worth another visit.
