Las Carretas Restaurant and Bar it a decent place to hangout after work on Fridays, as we found out last week. The place serves Mexican food, liquors and cocktail, and provides a relaxing place to unwind after the long working week. Having tasted Tex-Mex cuisine in Chilli's, we were expecting better from Las Carretas, and thankfully, they did not disappoint.

The interior walls were decorated with vanity plates, a sombrero and guitar, along with charming curios and knick knacks.
Chili Con Carne (RM20.90) served with rice and salad. The tangy pickled jalapeno complemented this dish, giving the perfect sourness to this dish that was sweet, salty, spicy and umami at the same time.
The Beef Enchiladas (RM23.90), were also served with a side of rice and salad. Topped with sour cream and avocado guacamole, this dish is perfected with melted cheese on top.
For dessert we had Boca Chica (RM11.50), a coffee sponge layered with cream served with a dollop of ice cream. This place charges 6% government and 10% service tax.
