Of late, our lunch excursion to Seri Kembangan is this place and this place only: Serdang Sister Lam Yong Tau Foo. They served Hakka style yong tau foo with varieties such as beancurd skins, fish paste, fish and meatballs, brinjals, chilies, lady's fingers and the likes, 老火汤 soups, deepfried pork, paper wrapped chicken and some other side dishes with rice.
Whenever food in Cyberjaya becomes too overwhelming, we drive further to the Equine Park area for something else. Granted, it is a rather far drive and we don't do it often, but when we did it was good lunch for us (Read: Chinese and non-halal). This place fits the bill nicely. I always enjoyed having yong tau foo, and the version they served does not disappoint. Their 老火汤 (literally translates to "old fire soup") has robust flavours, a sign that the soup was boiled for a substantial amount of time.
Price-wise each pieces of yong tau foo cost RM1.00 to RM1.20 per piece. Depending on how many pieces and other dishes ordered, a meal for two person is typically cost around RM20 - 25.
