MG's Vegetarian Cafe and Bakery

Nasi kunyit with curry "chicken"

As per the name, MG's Vegetarian Cafe and Bakery serves fusion style meals sans meat, dairy and eggs, as well as a selection of cakes and breads made without the usual egg, butter and cheese. The menu comprised of a balanced selection of Western, Asian and even Malaysian style meals, notably the cheese baked rice, spaghettis, sandwiches and wraps, nasi kunyit with curry, asam laksa, Shanghai noodles, sushis and the likes. The bakery section features vegetarian version of all time favorite cakes such as tiramisu, varieties of cheesecakes (soy cheese), black forest, chocolate ganache as well vegetarian breads and buns.

 The Shanghai noodles were made with minced vegetarian meat, shredded vegetables and a very convincing sauce.

The spaghetti sauce was made with the same "meat" as the Shanghai noodles.

We wrapped up the meal with a slice of tiramisu.

Overall, MG's vegetarian meals and their non vegetarian counterpart was quite similar in terms of taste and even texture. Their menu of health teas also offer diners another choice of in meal health enhancement. Do note that they did not claim to be organic.
