I've eyed this shop a few times when I went to Mid Valley. The puffy choux pastry in the traditionally shaped cream puffs, and the cylindrical pastry that is filled with jam always intrigues me. The fact that they also serve mini chocolate molten lava cakes makes me feel even more excited.
Up close, I can see that the Japanese style cream puffs are really huge and puffy! Totally unlike the bakery style cream puffs with a consistency of bread, these cream puffs are more towards dry and crusty, and relies on the creamy fillings to complement it. We got ourselves one with vanilla cream, though they do have a few flavours, such as chocolate and durian (to name a few) to choose from.
Each puff cost RM3.60. The cream is filled to order, and they are served with a dusting of icing sugar on top. Every bite with the creamy fillings was awesome! Its a pity we were stuffed full at time, because the cylindrical shaped pastry looked really interesting as well. Next time, maybe.
