MOF just opened in Sunway Pyramid. MOF, short for Ministry Of Food, is a Japanese style cafe serving healthy fares such as salad, sandwiches, bentos, coffee and desserts.
The food is more suitable as light snack in between meals, so we dropped by before a movie to grab a quick bite. We ordered unagi sushis, tuna rolls and onsen tamago sushi.
Food is pretty much normal. Not comparable to those Japanese restaurants, but still edible. The highlight of the menu is the wide selection of matcha drinks and desserts. So green and so pretty!

| Mini Macha Zen Combo Set |
Ours is the Mini Macha Zen Combo Set. The set description in the menu:
Hokkaido red bean paste with low-fat Japanese green tea gelato and Japanese dumplings served with Japanese mochi and soy bean powder. (Price: RM12.80)
The green tea gelato was good. The green tea flavour was robust, and lends a nice contrast of taste against the sweet Hokkaido bean paste.
Puffed Japanese rice mochi, easily the most enjoyable item in the combo. We love how the subtle rice cake complements the sauce and the soy bean powder. The rice cake itself is crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy inside.
Overall, their extensive and graphic menu is very enticing, and I can't wait to return to try their matcha blend variety, desserts and set meals!
