Yam fried prawn
Hong Kee Tim Sum Restaurant seems to be a promising dim sum place, judging from the crowd during the weekends and the availability of many choices of dim sums. We found that the fried varieties are quite extensive and creative.

Chan bao, what are these buns called in English? Meal buns?
Fish paste wrapped with bacon.
Wo bing.
Yam puffs.
The steamed dim sums are quite impressive as well.
Steamed prawn mai.
The mandatory steamed ribs.
Siew mai.
Soybean and longan jelly dessert.
Many of the varieties are only available during weekends, though. So if you are in for the choices, come early for a place in the weekends.

ReplyDeleteI've eaten at the restaurant before! The food is really good and variety is plenty. But you must come early (before 9am) to find a place otherwise you will be standing and waiting for quite a while.
ReplyDeleteI agree! Its really hard to find a table weekends after 9 am, and same goes to the parking! Some cars even parked at the side of the main road.
