Organic in our country mostly means vegetarian, as proved by the fleet of organic restaurants offering meat free vegetable centered meals. While I am certainly not someone pro-vegetarian, sometimes I do drop by for a meal or two. One of the restaurants that I usually frequent is Be Lohas Cafe, which has numerous branches in Klang Valley. LOHAS is an acronym for Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability.
It was a weekday and they have set meal promotions going on, which means you get a meal and drink combo. Pictured above was my yee mein in egg sauce.
Vegan duck rice set.
Mock meat ginger rice set.
Portion was quite large for me. Tastewise, I would say they taste healthy. Very little oil, subtle taste and lots of vegetables.
As with all organic restaurant, there is a BMS organic mart right inside it, for the convenience of the LOHAS conscious.
