Happy Diwali to all my Indian friends and happy long weekend for the rest of us! For those driving back to celebrate with families, please drive carefully, and be safe. In the spirit of Deepavali, let's enjoy my previous Indian meal of banana leaf rice meal in Kanna Curry House in BBT Two, Bandar Bukit Tinggi Klang.
Kanna Curry House seems to have branches all over, and I take that it means the food is good. Thank goodness they do not disappoint, as the wide selection of of curries and side dishes aplenty.
They also serve more than three varieties of vegetable dish in one meal, I like! They have cabbage, curried lady's finger, spinach puree and cucumber salad on that day. There were three types of curry gravies and dhal to go with the white rice. I also got myself a small tub of cold yoghurt to go with my meal, a pleasant flavour to offset the savoury curry gravy.
Their fried stuffs are fried to order, which ensures that we get our fried chicken piping hot straight from the wok. I just realized that the color of the fried chicken is a bit off.
The drinks they serve is typical of Indian/Mamak restaurant, and I really enjoy the warm, fresh cow milk. Remember to tell them not to add sugar if you don't want sweet milk, as they will add sugar by default.
