Chuan Chew Bak Kut Teh @ Jalan SS 14/2, Subang Jaya

Came back from a short holiday in Bali and it takes time for everything to fall back into routine. Nothing is better than my favourite local food to make me feel in tune and at home.

Literally meat bone tea, this hearty dish of pork cooked with herbs is good to have on rainy nights. Although Klang bak kut teh still remains the best, some decent bak kut teh can be found in Subang Jaya area as well. This one we had at Chuan Chew Bak Kut Teh at SS14 Subang Jaya is decent, as its near and satisfying.

The obligatory fried crullers, or youtiao.
