Set Lunch @ Han Woo Ri, USJ Taipan

I really like having Korean food in Han Woo Ri, the USJ Taipan branch. Funny how there are dissatisfied customers complaining about their service in one of the old blog post about Han Woo Ri, but I feel quite contrary. One man's meat is another man's poison, perhaps? Or one woman's expectation of service is different from another?

Comparison has always been drawn between this place and the other place called Daorae situated just down the corridor, although my opinions of the two places is largely opposite from others. To be fair, I've been to both and ordered the same thing, at around the same time of the day, so I believe my conclusion is just.

Now let me tell you why I like this place. First, and almost the most important one: Its quiet, more peaceful, and certainly a more relaxing place to eat, as opposed to a busy, bustling, hotplates sizzling and waiters disappearing places. 

In addition, the food here is delicious, with side dishes (banchans) all refillable even for set meals. My favourite side dishes are: the kimchi, the spinach, the potato salad and the omelet.

Inset photos are all from the set meals, and they are all affordable. Definitely no BBQs for the set meals, but they are only available for lunch, so who has the time for lunch BBQ anyway? Also, set meals are good for small group of people, because it is easier to order food in individual portions, and we get to taste each other's dishes. Because set meals are also available from 12.00 to 3.00 pm  every single day (Yes! Even weekends!) this place is a convenient place to have brunch when I sleep in on weekends.

This spicy beef soup, which is in the set, is really good for a rainy Saturday afternoon. I like.

Watermelons as dessert after the meal. Complimentary, but nothing out of ordinary.
